RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2014 | SILVER-GILT MEDAL

Posted on 23rd July 2014

In 2014 we exhibited our first show garden at the RHS Chelsea flower show with a main avenue garden for investment managers, Brewin Dolphin.  The garden was awarded a Silver-Gilt medal.

The main theme of the garden was the idea of nurturing potential for the future with inspiration taken from the unfolding energy and new possibilities of a spring morning. Calm, tranquil spaces in the garden such as a floating island and pools of still water were surrounded by fresh, lush, planting reflecting Brewin Dolphin’s long heritage of nurturing and preserving wealth. However, there were also bold, engaging elements throughout the garden such as patinated copper archways, generous paths and sculpture which symbolised emerging opportunities and Brewin Dolphin’s forward thinking and relevant approach.  A key part of the garden was a sociable entertaining decked space which floated above a reflective surface of water.  The area included a unique cedar pergola structure called the dew drop pergola, with water cascades and wrap around seating which had a fern wall backdrop.
