The Waterfall Garden SW19

Posted on 1st July 2013

The brief from Wimbledon Park Heritage Group was to bring back to life a redundant Waterfall garden in Wimbledon Park. The design for the garden has seen the 1950’s water element brought back to life fed by the Capability Brown lake that sits above it.

The new scheme included a meandering bridge to cross the waterfall, a spiral tree seat and railway sleeper paths providing better access to the garden. Planting was of lush textural evergreen foliage and grasses with low maintenance requirements.
